Spoiler Alert: It’s super easy.
Want to attract more customers to your mailing list? Well you’ve come to the right place. By the end of this blog you’ll have successfully added the Mailchimp app to your Facebook company page.
Do you have everything you need?
For this you will need:
Step One: Set up your form in Mailchimp
This is probably the trickiest part of the process, and it’s super-easy, even for someone who is new to Mailchimp, or new to the updated Mailchimp…
First, go to Audience – Manage Audience – Signup forms.
Your best option is to go straight into Form Builder, where you can decide on which fields you want your form to include, whether you want a logo, and change the colour schemes. Look out for the ‘Field settings’ menu on the right which looks like it’s greyed out, but this is where you change the fields you want your subscribers to fill in.
Select Design it in the top menu to change colours.
Once you’re happy with your form, there is a small link to copy, which you can use in social media posts, but it is otherwise not needed, unless your web designer wants to embed the form... There is no ‘save’ button, so don’t look for it, you’re done!
Step Two: Integrate your form with your Facebook page
In Mailchimp, go to the drop-down menu by your account name on the top right and select ‘Account’ – Integrations.
From here click on the Facebook icon to ‘Add a signup form to your Facebook Pages and auto-post campaigns.’ If you manage more than one Facebook page you will need to select the correct page at this point.
Step Three: Check the tab in Facebook
Head on over to your Facebook page and you will see your new tab at the bottom of the list of tabs on the left.
Click on the tab and make sure you see the form as you would expect.
Step Four: You’re all done – give it a try
Now click on the ‘Page’ tab. You should see your new tab wherever you’ve chosen to place it. Click on it. You will see your signup sheet for your MailChimp mailing list. It’s as simple as that! We’ve done it here for our page, let us know how you get on with yours...
